Ahi Tuna Steaks
Yellowfin Tuna Steaks are a favorite. Often called Ahi, these firm and flaky seafood steaks have a meaty flavor that's sure to satisfy. Great for anything from poke' bowls to make-your-own sushi, or simply pan seared or grilled.

Cook from frozen or thawed. Remove all packaging. Grease or cooking spray the pan, or aluminum foil if grilling. Season as desired. Cook until fish flakes easily with a fork, to an internal temperature of 145°F.
Broil (HIGH heat) Frozen: 7 to 8 minutes/side. Thawed: 7 to 9 minutes.
Bake (preheat oven to 400°F) Thawed: 10 to 15 minutes.
Grill (MEDIUM heat) Thawed: 3 to 4 minutes/side.
Remove all plastic packaging before thawing. For best results, thaw yellowfin tuna in a covered pan in the refrigerator. The fish should thaw in 6 to 12 hours. For quicker thawing, place in a reclosable bag and submerge in a pan of cold water (usually 10 to 15 minutes). Do not thaw fish at room temperature. Rinse before use. Do not refreeze.
